MCM Success Ladder Package.
MCM Global Team Ltd. will soon be opening an office in Los Angeles in order to increase our accessibility in North America and California in particular.
While working with major recording artists all over the world, MCM Global Team will soon bring their trademarked success ladder package to a wider audience in order to support all levels in the recording industry.
BLØF
In 2005, the biggest band from Holland, BLØF (EMI / Capitol Records) worked with MCM Global Team in Ireland on their CD & DVD album Umoja. A masterpiece including collaborations with Counting Crows, Eliades Ochoa, Christina Branco, Femi Kuti etc. Triple platinum for a reason! The same week we organized a sold-out concert in Dublin, joined by Terry Woods, Shane Martin & Paul Harrigan.
In 2008 BLØF revisited Ireland and once more worked with MCM Global Team. This time they stayed longer and recorded two albums in Pickering House. The first album named Oktober has just been released reaching the number one position in the Dutch charts and received platinum status in its first week. International alt-rock star Sarah Bettens, lead singer of K’s Choice, contributed on several songs. The first single of the album also reached the number one position in the Dutch single top 100.
The second album, April, will be released in April 2009 and will complete this unique double concept. Other Irish projects are in the pipeline.
Van Morrison
After a long time of rehearsals and recordings, the year 2005 gave us the amazing release of the Magic Time album. Our client Jerome Rimson contributed Bass and vocals.
In 2007, we saw the first ever released DVD Live at Montreux by Van Morrison. This DVD features our client, legendary USA bassist turned producer Jerome Rimson, performing this amazing set together with Van Morrison, back in 1974.
In 2008, almost 35 years later, another Van Morrison release featured Jerome Rimson. A vocals contribution was given to the album “Keep It Simple” with classic songs such as “School Of Hard Knocks” and “Soul”.
Michael Zentner
We have been working with Hollywood based artist Michael Zentner since 1994 who is amongst the best electric violin players in the world. During this time we worked, among other projects, on his Playtime album featuring artists such Robbie Krieger, Vernon Reid, Tony Levin and Anthony Jackson.
Currently we are working with Michael Zentner on a music feature film named The Punkees for which he has written the script. While it will be a huge Hollywood production, we can expect pure rock and punk influences making this a music film like we have never seen before.
We sought out the best producers in Hollywood to be involved in this film. Since it is a music film, there will be many entertaining cameo roles played by beloved music greats and todays top film stars. For example, one of the best, if not the best live band in the world, Stereophonics, have agreed to participate in this film. Filming is expected to commence in Ireland in early 2009.
Several tracks have already been recorded in LA and New York. The material is really innovative. Watch this space.
Carel Kraayenhof
MCM Global Team will organize some special concerts with Carel Kraayenhof and his Sexteto Canyengue in Dublin Ireland on April 8th 2009. Carel is known as one of the best bandonéonplayers in the world. It was the great maestro Astor Piazzolla who in 1987 personally invited Kraayenhof to play for him on Broadway in the musical Tango Apasionado.
Kodak DMD
In 2007 Kodak & MCM Global Team Ltd. brought a new revolutionary disc to the market - the Kodak DMD, which stands for Digital Mastering Disc. It took a dedicated team of engineers two years to develop this product and obtain the acquired patents.
There is no other product with the high spec of the Kodak DMD disc currently in the market place. The DMD disc fits all drives and can carry data and images and preserve them for 100 years with the best quality ever developed so far. With this disc we are convinced we will revolutionize the recording process, setting a new industry standard.
